Coalesce Web-based Grant Management Suite
The purpose of the Coalesce System is to assure improved standards through the collective strength of its supporting participants. Liquidus Tech, LLC is providing and hosting a secure, seamlessly integrated, web-based grant management environment to fulfill the needs of the grantees, needs assessors, grant writers, grant evaluators, and grant managers. It is the fundamental goal of the software to provide an integrated and solution-based model that meets the continually evolving needs of grant writers, evaluation experts, and their clients.
The Coalesce System has been developed in response to needs expressed by many grant clients and industry grant writers, evaluators, and trainers. Specifically, they recognized a need for improved, updated, accountable, and most important, consistent standards in managing and evaluating programs, and an independent organization structured to implement and assess these standards. They also cited a need to amalgamate the work of many government and international organizations and projects into a focused effort on behalf of defining, evaluating, and certifying programs. The Coalesce System can respond to these needs through the process proposed in the following.
The Coalesce System proposes addressing the needs through a process that advances through a number of phases of activity, as follows:
- Collection— Coalesce provides systematic management of available information to define client objectives, training needs, areas of capacity, and standards. Data is collected through a seamless yet individualized interface securely accessible to the grant writers, grantees, grant partners, grant collaborators, grant managers, and grant evaluators. Data is then aggregated and analyzed to produce high-quality, standardized reports indicative of the effectiveness of the implemented programs.
- Development— Objectives will be defined for each phase of the process, allowing clients to walk through each phase of the grant-writing and training process with clear reports indicating their strengths, needs, grant status, goals and objectives, and results. In addition, Coalesce connects clients to a wealth of information provided by (and often contained) at a variety of sites including funding opportunities, local demographics, grant deadlines, and opportunities for local and national collaboration.
- Formalization— The Coalesce System, while intended for standardization, is applicable to a variety of contributors and partners and allows for adaptation and specialization as required by adopting institutions and organizations.
- Implementation— The goal of this component is to assure success with the process. Your goals and objectives, as specified in your grant, are the criterion by which your implemented programs will be evaluated.
- Evaluation— The project's effectiveness and the participants' compliance is measured by a formal process largely based on the CIPP model developed by Daniel Stufflebeam. The Coalesce System will interface with participating institutions and operations, allow clients to perform follow-up evaluations of your program's effectiveness and deficiencies, then report these observations with recommendations to the funding institution or government regulatory agency and its participants.
